Susan Barnes is currently President at Susby Internet Solutions Consulting, a consulting firm in San Francisco, California. Prior to starting Susby IS Consulting, Susan was Vice President at iArchitects, an Internet Architecture company in Emeryville, California.  During her nine years there, Susan was responsible for project management, search engine optimization and search engine marketing, client relations, Internet marketing, and design and development of web-based software applications.

Susan is also an instructor for the San Francisco State University College of Extended Learning's Integrated Marketing Program, where she teaches "Maximixing Search Engine Marketing" and "Internet Marketing Now:  New Tools and Trends."  Susan is an Internet Design & Technology graduate of the SF State Multimedia Studies Program, and holds a Master of Music degree from Northwestern University and two Bachelors degrees from Oberlin College and Conservatory.

Susan's passion for teaching and learning, along with a strong desire to help and make a difference lead her to start Classes for Causes.  She is the founder and director of Classes for Causes and is extremely grateful to have the opportunity to teach, learn, raise money for good causes and enable other people to do the same.  Susan donates her teaching time to causes related to protecting the environment, empowering women, fighting AIDS in Africa, and helping the homeless and hungry locally.
