Patterns are interpreted in different ways by different people. What one person notices and admires is completely invisible to another. In this respect sometimes I think we are isolated in our own lives, yet the connections we have with others who share similar interests are what keeps us together, building friends and communities. If you have something to say, say it. Create that art, do that doodle, write that book, compose that poem, sing your song, write your music, or simply invent something fun or really useful.
Find your inspiration, nuture it and run with it. For me connecting the dots between these wires and the birds on them as notes on a musical staff is obvious, but also clever and inspirational. And the music they create is beautiful too.
We applied for Google Grants today. Since we are a registered 501c3 non-profit organization, we are eligible to apply, but I was astounded that the response time can take up to SIX months! So to all of you do-gooders out there with your new and/or established non-profits, if you would like to apply for a Google Grant to get some free Google AdWords advertising, I highly recommend you move the assignment up in your list of priorities.
