Classes for Causes is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to connecting people to raise money and awareness for causes through teaching and learning. Teach a class about anything you want and the money raised in tuition goes to the charity of the instructor's choice.

If you are interested in teaching or taking classes, please register as a student, and/or sign up to teach.

If you wish to make a tax deductible contribution to Classes for Causes to help us help others raise money and awareness for various causes through teaching and learning, please make your donation online or mail a check to

Classes for Causes.... A New Way to Give.
Lisa Whether cooking in a soup kitchen for the homeless, working with SF Connect, or taking time off from her job to teach mathematics to disadvantaged middle school children, Lisa has always tried to find time to make that difference in the lives of people less fortunate. Jen Jennifer is teaching a class on "Creating Custom Cell Phone Ring Tones" and donating her proceeds to assist with autism research.
